Label Description: CrAwE is the sound art project of Adam Colman, based in U.K. We’ve been astonished and impressed by the number of releases this poject (sic) has delivered throughout the years for a small community of avid listeners of experimental music. This new album carries on the stylistic path already put to the fore in previous albums but injecting new ideas. The body of tracks is made of emotionally transportive, massive and spacious desert-like droning mantras built around the guitar and various processed sounds. The result is bewitching, contemplative and captivating with some highly emotional moments and with an entrancing-like impulse due to the use of hypnotic textures and loops. The languid bass frequencies add a tellurian-primordial impulse to the ensemble. This album is an electro-acoustic delight, an immersive and sensorial experience that will lead you to some cinematic wastelands or death valley. Tumultuous, restful, reflective and blissful are words which can characterize the thrilling musical epicness (sic) of this album.
