A deep reworking of Llyn Y Cwn’s “Megaliths” (2024). The original was a profound dark ambient exploration of the sacred resonance embedded within stone circles; “Megaliths In Dub” is the echo beneath the surface, the unheard rhythm that has always been there.
The megaliths stand – timeless, unyielding. Their histories stretch beyond recorded memory, their presence imbued with silent narratives of the land. “Megaliths” sought to channel this ancient energy into pure sound. Yet no history exists without its counterpart – no creation without its shadow.
On “Megaliths In Dub”, suppressed tempos emerge, pulsing with the primal force of forgotten rites. Guitar invocations from the live rituals weave through the fabric of the album, distorting and reshaping the familiar, exquisite dark ambient Llyn Y Cwn has become renowned for.
It is a sonic metamorphosis – a spectral reflection of the megalithic presence.
The stones have been disturbed.
Presented in a 6-panel digipak with breathtaking photography by the artist.

LLYN Y CWN “Megaliths” (2024).
Megaliths (2024) was a sonic pilgrimage through burial chambers and stone circles, crafted from years of field recordings and convolution reverbs. Guided by Julian Cope and Aubrey Burl, Llyn Y Cwn channelled the ancient silence into immersive dark ambient soundscapes.

ALBUM LAUNCH + CONCERT:
LLYN Y CWN play Unitarian Church, 3pm Saturday 11th Oct at Harmonicon Festival, Tordmorden – with The Transcendence Orchestra (Surgeon and Dan Bean), Bridget Hayden, David Keenan…
LLYN Y CWN conveys atmosphere and environment through deep ambient sounds. A phantasm of echoes reflecting the bleak majesty and poetic melancholy of the hinterland of North Wales. A hole within a void, a place defined by absence in a world of negative space.
Ben Powell has been making electronic music for over 25 years, drawing inspiration from his native North Wales landscape and his participation on Arctic research cruises. While most artists can only imagine what these desolate land and seascapes feel and sound like, Llyn Y Cwn is an authentic reflection of these incredible locations.
The musicians of the WORMWOOD’S HEART project believe that time is the cyclical immensity of the self, and we are all the light that permeates this process. “Synchronous Cycles of Light” is a material born from the need to explore sounds and the information they convey, as well as from observing the subtle interrelationships between culture (the human) and nature (the non-human). WORMWOOD’S HEART is inspired by synchronicity – the interaction of many people and events that became part of the creation of this album. The musicians primarily aimed to highlight the full spectrum of experiences that make up their lives – from harmony and silence to moments of tension and uncertainty. Driven by respect for the space in which their music is to resonate, they minimize it to its essential elements. The album is an invitation to a shared experience of the multifaceted nature of life – its beauty, mystery, and contrasts. The entire album was recorded at the Cierpienie Studio and its surroundings in Smarzyków in the summer of 2025.
WORMWOOD’S HEART – SYNCHRONOUS CYCLES OF LIGHT Wormwood’s Heart are Piotr Ramlau and Marcel Gawinecki. Synchronous Cycles of Light are Karolina Karpowicz, Daniel Górny, Marceli Dziurleja, Natalia Kozłowska, Etna, Smarzykowo, and all the tiny synchronicities that made this album possible to emerge.
For a time, we looked at life — and life looked back at us. Captured and recorded at Studio Cierpienie and its surroundings in Smarzykowo, in the middle of summer ’24.
Dave Fuglewicz’s work has been reissued on the NO PART OF IT label before, if only for additional posterity, in particular the “Selected Works 1990-1997” collection. Michael Thomas Jackson is also known under the project name “Cephalic Index”. “The Sky Is Glowing” was arranged in 2012.
Here is what Fuglewicz had to say:
“At the end of 2011, Michael Thomas Jackson sent me a CD of source files he had made (titled “Moog and turntable, Nov and Dec 2011”) for me to use as I saw fit. It was an unexpected but pleasant surprise, BIG thanks to Michael for this. I finally started working with the files a couple weeks ago, completing this first piece; “The Sky Is Glowing” of what will be a full release. FYI: I consider a full release to be about sixty minutes in length. I only used the files Michael sent me on this, modifying, editing and blendarizing them into the final form posted here. I hope you enjoy it. For those of you unfamiliar with Michael’s work, I highly recommend checking him out.” credits released September 1, 2025

This incarnation of Blood Rhythms: Arvo Zylo & David Oakspawn “Thin Places” was originally released on a tape for Personal Archives limited to 33 copies. “The Night Letter” was released on a netlabel compilation themed after public domain film samples.
This piece deals with reflected images, sounds and ideas and the perceptions thereof and how they echo and compliment their real-life counterpoints. The album consists of two tracks, each with compositional direction from the same score but in opposite directions. These two tracks were then blended together, one forwards and one backwards for each side, to create the two finished halves. The results are sounds occurring together moving forward while their reflected sounds move backwards.

PD-NMO-25 \\\^◊^/// – Bird of Prey EP (2025) feat Gaby Fuchs
Mater Suspiria Vision’s side project \\\^◊^/// returns in 2025 with the Bird of Prey EP, featuring cult celebrity Gaby Fuchs. The release conjures the forbidden spirit of Horror Schlager, blending occult cinema atmospheres with spectral Schlager nostalgia and ghostly cabaret. A hallucinatory broadcast from an alternate dimension, it drifts between trance incantation, VHS decay, and cryptic dream-pop.
Elated to welcome one of the most enduringly creative and boundary-pushing artists of the last few decades to quiet details, Robin Rimbaud, otherwise known as Scanner.
A towering figure in the worlds of music, sonic and visual art, dance, installation and a myriad of other disciplines – Robin has covered a huge amount of artistic ground since his earliest forays into our consciousness in 1991.
From countless albums and projects as a solo artist and in many collaborations, including the likes of Brian Ferry, Michale Nyman, Steve McQueen, Stella McCartney, Laurie Anderson and Hussein Chalayan, and Pauline Oliveros; to the first Sound Art commission at the Tate Modern London; scoring a dance piece for the UK Olympics; the list of his critically-acclaimed achievements goes on and on.
At the core of his work is always a deep curiosity, the ability to make cognitive leaps into the creative unknown and fashion something beautiful – it’s with this sense of wonder he’s made something truly incredible for quiet details.
The album is a stunning sonic exploration of the world around him, another fundamental element running through his work – realising the majesty contained within structures that has always been there, now brought to life.
As Robin says:
This album is forged entirely from the resonant clangs, echoes, and whispers of a stainless steel staircase at home, transforming everyday architecture into an unexpected orchestra.
By coaxing rhythm, tone, and atmosphere from the metallic body of a staircase, the work reimagines movement between floors as a passage through sound.
No synthesisers were used in the creation, only the natural sound of the staircase using a geophone seismic microphone and the gentle assistance of the occasional resonant filter and sample software.
This has led to an album of enveloping beauty – highly textured drones meet distant pulses; metallic fragments merge with hauntingly evocative melody. Physical architecture translated to harmonic structures in the most breathtaking way imaginable.
There’s so much to admire here – from the beauty of the original recordings to the highest level of craft to turn them into something so musically engaging – a true masterpiece from one of our finest artistic minds.
Huge thanks to Robin for being part of the series.
The artwork was made as always influenced by the music and idea behind the album – originating from a photo from Robin which was then captured with analogue photography and processed here at quiet details studios.
As usual, the album is presented on the physical edition, a custom six-panel digipack with a separate fine art print too.
The CD also has a special long-form continuous mix of the album, created by the artist and representing the music in its purest form.
NOISE TRAIL IMMERSION are back on the scene with “Tutta La Morte In Un Solo Punto,” a visceral and uncompromising album that wants to get straight to the listeners’ stomachs rather than their heads, channeling all the pain, chaos and inscrutability that characterize the depths of the human soul into extremely chaotic and short tracks.
A new turning point in the musical journey of NOISE TRAIL IMMERSION, “Tutta la Morte in un solo punto” transfigures the spiritual component added by “Curia” (2021) to the Italian band’s music, in some ways resuming the cavernous, furious and desperate approach of “Symbology of Shelter” (2018), but without its more nihilistic component.
The idea was to express a deep suffering, even violent and furious, but still an integral part of a cathartic vision, which sees the human experience at its center, in a continuous dialogue and clash between matter and spirit.
Musically, the research focuses on condensing the climaxes of the tracks in specific moments, in which intricate but memorable guitar riffs take center stage, with refined harmonies and continuous interlocking, suspended in a perpetual tension between dissonances… more

Scraped from the digital domain, here are the last recordings I ever did on my 4-track tape machine. It was murder cutting up PLU and some other parts of tracks on tape. I hope you like this “lost classic”, but it was never really lost as it was available from Vuzh Music for many, many years. This is a WHOLENESS RECORDINGS release: WHOLE022025 credits released October 1, 2025
Many thanks to Nigel Ayers whom I wrote asking permission. He said it was up to the record company. And thanks to Vicki Bennett of People Like Us, whom I didn’t ask as I didn’t know her address. Cover art by longtime friend and cohort C. Reider who runs Vuzh Music.
